Your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries

Spent time with my bro & his girl this weekend. They made a kick ass Thai dinner of mango salad & some seafood coconut concoction. We also got drunk on elderberry wine.

It rained here but the sun shone every afternoon there. I bring the sunshine wherever I go. Ha.

He & his girlfriend built that little house up there. I'm proud.

My parents are down here from the big city watching the kiddies for 3 days because my in-laws are in Germany for a month. I love my parents. Big Bobbie made dinner so it was all ready when I got home from work while my mom chilled with the kiddoes. How times have changed since i was a wee bairn.

Hope you're all having a good week.

The problem being that when drinking it, that played in infinite loop in my head, accent & all.

As an expat Canadian living in the US, one of the first moments where I felt like I wanted to pack it all up and move home (there have been many) was when I dropped a Monty Python line and NO ONE GOT IT. Cultural backwater here I tell you.

To remedy the situation I forced all my friends to watch 'The Holy Grail' and 'Life of Brian'. Interestingly they didn't see the brilliance. I'm not sure if that means as Canadians we are genetically closer to the British, or if there is a developmental window as we're growing up in which we have to be exposed to Monty Python to truly appreciate it later in life.

I think this is worthy of grant funding.

I had to comment. You're pictures make me miss Canada something fierce.
