Tell me with the rapture and the reverent in the right

Watched a movie called Ever Since the World Ended. Shot Blair Witch/Cloverfield style (but less shaky). Pockets of people left living after a plague killed off most of the world. 186 peeps in San Fran. Dude decides to take a vid camera & record people's thoughts on the whole plague/survivor/life before & after thing. Very intriguing initially but then ran amok. For startsies, they find some joe whose been living all by his lonesome in the forest for 8 years. Sleeps in a hammock strung above the trees. Humans are social animals number one and i don't think he'd be so quick-witted & sociable after prolonged isolation & number two, who cuts his hair & whitens his teeth? pfft. Not to mention the scurvy that'd be setting in.
Seems to me San Fran would be one of the dumbest places to stay. When the bridges & roads fall, you're stuck & it's earthquake central inn'it? Reminded me of the movies my friends shot in high school.

Here are some photos from Chinatown:

I always love those 'apocolyptic' kinds of movies... they are usually so campy you can't really take them seriously. LOVE the photos.

Great shots. Speaking of movies, took your advice on flicks and saw the 30 days of night flick. Have not slept since. Seriously, those vamps were not sexy. They were creatures from the bowels of hell. Yikes!

Yep tons of stuff in San Fran to have fall on you. Plus it does have major earthquakes lol.

Tara, i love end of the world type movies. Perfect for my mildly OCD mind to mull over.

Converse, I don't think I recommended that movie did i?! I said it scared the crap out of me!

Soge, yeah i've been there & not the best place to settle in an end-of-the-world scenario!

Huck, was that any good? Not really my type of movie but i could use some fluff right now.
