Just dance. Gunna be okay. Da-da-doo-doo (oh yeaah)

Somehow we ended up with only one out of three offspring tonight. The other two were absconded by relatives for sleep-overs. We were left with the easiest, sweetest one, who shall remain nameless. We took a walk, played at the park, picked flowers, planted a walnut, weeded the garden, went to a greasy spoon for a dinner of breakfast, and got a haircut. The evening ended with a voluntary tooth flossing and brushing, a story, hugs, and an I Love You. Perfect, just perfect.

Life, as it is wont to do from time to time, has been kicking my ass lately. I'm sort-of down for the count at this point. I also have a funeral, a house warming, and a trip to the US of A to attend to. Hence begins a mini bloggus-interruptus.

Until next Wednesday-ish, arrivederci.

Hi! I found your blog through your comment on Dooce. I know how much you enjoyed viewing her movie about cooking and eating edamame. You can view the East Coast video response to that cinematic masterpiece at www.ournameisblog.blogspot.com We hope you will leave a comment.

I don't know if I have ever asked you this before, are you a professional photographer. Would you be willing to sell some black and whites? I think you are so talented. I want to do a wall of black and white shots in our home office. Let me know.

Peace,
Kel

Be careful in the US and A. We don't take kindly to your silly socialized medicine or poutine.

Have a safe trip. Isn't having 'one child' for the day/night the best, remember when we thought *that* was hard.

A voluntary teeth flossing?

Wow. ;)

I love the one on one time with just one child.
