Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches’ wings

The amazingly talented and gracious Tammie Lee from Spirithelpers sent me one of her greeting cards. Her photography is truly amazing and takes my breath away with it's beauty. Her images are pure and unpretentious and non(or is it un?)-photoshopped. Her latest post shows where she lives. A place of absolute beauty. I am convinced Montana is one of the most gorgeous places in the world.

It is so bitterly cold out right now. Teeny little flakes of snow are flying about. On a high note, I bought the cutest snugly black toque today and I'm sort-of excited to wear it. Static hair be damned.

Montana is indeed one of the most beautiful places in the world.

My friends and I are fond of saying, "We live where other people vacation!"

I haven't been in Montana for 40 years, but I imagine, unlike the cities I've visited in the past, those mountains haven't changed much - and they were magnificent.

We have huge enormous flakes of snow falling as I type and my kids have no boots.

Beautiful picture. Very breath taking clouds.

My kids have no boots either! (two out of three anyway). I made one of them wear his sister's old pair this morning. Hey, the light purple on them had faded to grey so why not? (:
