Waking up but I get to sleep Cause I'll be rocking this party eight days a week

I've had insomnia for over a week now & I'm going CRAZZZZZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I go to sleep & then wake up a half hour later & then an hour after that & then a half hour after that and well, you get the idea right? Try sleeping with me right now, it's totally awesome!

So today I had no caffeine after a sleepless night (and yes I am a superhero thank you), jumped on the trampoline with my babies, did an aerobics class (I am not ashamed to say that I rocked out EXTRA hard to Britney's Piece of Me), then did a yoga session, took a bath, drank some warm milk (which gave me AWESOME breath) and had a night-cap of chamomile tea.

If it doesn't work, my
Lyssophobia might actually come to a head.

Fingers crossed (for the sleeping, not the madness).

This is an excellent likeness of my pupils right now.

I feel your pain... no matter when I go to bed I won't sleep later than 3:30 a.m. But, now that I'm getting night sweats (it's the age thing) I maybe get a couple hours of uninterrupted sleep.

LOL @ the likeness of your pupils right now!!

I like wine...even a glass helps settle me and keep me in a slumber.

It could be the quitting smoking thing too though.

Oh, you are not alone. Hubby has no idea how it is possible that I function on three hours of sleep. He's kinda ticked 'cause he doesn't get why I can't sleep.

I tell him my mind just WILL NOT shut off. I used to be able to fall asleep on a whim. Not anymore.

I so miss sleep. Let me know if you find anything that works . . . besides being hit on the head with a brick (which I don't recommend).

Aerobics, yoga ... you should be good to go. Be sure to catch some sun.

Sleeping pills. I once had to resort to those, regularly, prescribed ones.

Hopefully you won't need that.

It must be going around, you are the third blog about not sleeping (including mine) I've read in the last hour.

Saw you on Manager Mom, popped in to take a look, your eyes are scary...

Insomnia is not fun! I have had it for about 6 years, and nothing works... I keep thinking if I had talked to a doctor when it started, I might have beat it back then.

Good Luck!
