I will kiss you like sunshine Stealing pieces from a perfect sky

I love this space in between the seasons. Filtered light flickering through the trees as I drive. I concentrate less on the sky and focus on the long shadows. Dry heat of the day, sharp cold of the evening. Gardens still awash with color, leaves starting to turn. Everything high contrast, bathed in crisp light. The air is fresh and sweet. It smells like honey.

The neighbourhood filters out after dinner to enjoy the remaining light. The body and spirit want to pack it all in before hibernation season begins. There is an air of anticipation as if awaiting a party.

The dew drops glisten on the grass until mid morning. Everyone is walking in the morning, hurrying off to school. A father holding his toddler, a grandmother clasping a little hand, back-pack in place. It seems on these mornings that all is right with the world.

you paint a vivid, realistic picture of the seasonal change of guard.

All is well with the world. Ain`t that great.

Your first paragraph really sounded like photography on paper. How`s the course going.. well I presume.

very vivid - very nostalgic. I love this post - this little snapshot of how you see your surroundings.

I see that you are already getting better in the photography arena, that photo kicks a@@.

It looks like you are feeling slightly better today than the previous post. I hope you are feeling more of the 'alright with the world' stuff.
